Wow, time passes so quickly! It's been nearly 3 years since I went down a rabbit hole into learning more about patterns in nature and stumbled across the Constructal Law, which has evolved into developing a framework that forms the basis for cultivating natural strength in both individuals and organizations at Canon Collaborative.
Recently, I was reflecting on the journey that led me here. It wasn't an easy decision to start my dream gig in the middle of a global pandemic – and it hasn't been the easiest journey since. Entrepreneurship is filled with personal growth opportunities and many, many prompts to trust myself and the path that I have chosen – a path that I deeply believe can support human flourishing on a larger scale.
The Constructal Law governs design in nature — and it’s all about finding greater access to flow.
The importance of trusting yourself is one of the primary messages that I share and support others with in my work – and one that I absolutely love sharing with my clients. It's only when we trust ourselves that we're able to build authentic trust with others – and form powerful collaborations. This is why Organizational Grounding Journeys require 1:1 Spark Sessions for all individuals before coming together as a team.
Never could I have guessed that 3 years later I'd be here with the support of the discoverer of the Constructal Law, Adrian Bejan – who tells me that I am “humanizing” a law of physics that is widely used in the fields of mechanical engineering and thermodynamics. In just three short weeks, I'll be sharing my work in Torino, Italy alongside Bejan and other international scientists and engineers – and I am very honored and super excited for this opportunity!
